Google Search Engine Google is the most popular and accurate search engine today for finding relevant web sites that match a user's query. You can also search for: Images, local stores, local news, and the shopping site named " Froogle " that compares shopping web sites and allows you to sort by price, rating and a few other criteria. Google and Yahoo especially offer many of the same service and their service offerings keep expanding. MSN to a lower extent is following suit.

Yahoo Search Engine Yahoo! search provides email, news, shopping, web search, music, fantasy sports, and many other online products and services to consumers and businesses worldwide. It is the second most popular search engine today.

MSN Search Engine MSN allows searching the Web, MSN's Encarta encyclopedia, news, and images. MSN search includes desktop search, which Google has as well.

All The Web All The Web's search results are provided by Yahoo! now and includes billions of web pages, as well as tens of millions of PDF and MS Word files. It is more of a simple interface then Yahoo. It also provides the ability to search for news stories, pictures, video clips, MP3s and FTP files.

Ask Jeeves Now renamed as ask.com Ask Jeeves' changed from a "natural language" search engine where most people were using it for more sophisticated searches. Searches that were informational, navigational, and transactional. Now under the ask.com umbrella the service, it is a search engine that accepts standard query's and uses trusted expert sites for relevancy. It also helps you to narrow or expand your search by showing relevant search term links on the right hand side of your web browser. Another popular crawler-based search engine "Teoma" (which means it searches the search engines) is also under ask.com now.

Web Crawler WebCrawler uses metasearch to search the Internet's top search engines, including Google, Yahoo! Search, MSN Search, Ask Jeeves, About, Looksmart and more. This can save you time, especially with broad searches, instead of results from only one single search engine. It also assists you to narrow your topic by showing relevant subcategories on the right hand side.
